About Us

Stuart has over 30 years experience in dealing with property, being the son of a Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent in Canterbury.

During his early career Stuart worked for a small independent private practice in Kent before moving onto the Department of the Environment and then Kent County Council as an area Estates Manager.  Stuart specialises in surveys of residential properties, in particular listed and historic buildings.

On leaving the Local Authority, Stuart joined a nationwide firm of surveyors, managing the office in Canterbury and covering the South East.  From here he jointly set up and worked in a surveying practice for some seven years until leaving in 2009 to be wholly independent.

Mark Michel MSc. MRICS

Senior Associate Surveyor Mark Michel has worked for some of the largest developers in the UK on retail shopping centres, although now concentrates on surveys of historic buildings.  Mark is also a Senior Lecturer in Building Surveying at the University of Greenwich.

 We believe it is important to ensure that we understand our clients' requirements fully and are happy to personally discuss matters with our clients at every stage of our appointment.
